The biggest challenges we face seem colossal when we have to face them alone. To break old, unhealthy habits and start new, healthy ones, you need a champion, a mentor, a friend. That's me.
I was a martial artist (still am) and a track and field athlete in high school. I got my start in body building at the beginning of college, and have been involved with health and fitness ever since. I researched and informally studied human biomechanics, physiology and applied physics, and combined those disciplines to scientifically optimize exercises to build muscle, sculpt bodies and train me and my students in the discipline of achieving higher levels of fitness. As with all of us, somewhere along the way, life caught up to me and started to demand more time from me, causing me to shift my focus away from my health, and expend more time on other important aspects of my life. I was reminded that life is to be lived, and that a healthier life style is ultimately what maximizes one's enjoyment of what one's life can yield. So, I re-ignited my discipline in exercise and physical activity, and have advanced my studies in nutrition and supplementation to the next level, so that I might enhance my discipline in the health science arena. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others, so that they may meet and exceed their health and fitness goals. I am a firm believer that health is not just physical. It is an intricate connection of spiritual, mental, emotional, psychological AND the physical aspects of who we are. Digging deep and forging a strong foundation upon which one can launch any endeavor is a journey through which I will challenge and guide you.
